A truck driver was seriously injured while transporting the gear of Irish pop band Westlife to their New Plymouth concert.His truck and trailer unit rolled between Mokau and Piopio at 4.30am.A passing motorist said the driver struck black ice and unsuccessfully tried to correct the vehicle, which suffered extensive damage. Promoters said the show would definitely go ahead tonight and the band was very upset about what had happened to the driver.- NEWSTALK ZB
