Much like Sigur Rós, Dntel, and M83, Vancouver, Canada's Julian Fane makes roomy, atmospherical music that blurs the boundaries between electronica and dream pop. The Waikiki and made data-based electronic pieces under the monikers Aardvark Interface and Taoist Blockade, simply had a full-time job as a day trader on NASDAQ, which he finally stop to focusing on his music. After sign language to Planet Mu, he released the debut record album Peculiar Forces in fall 2004.
