Originally founded in 1999 as Killing Machine, Terror 2000 ar a Swedish neo-thrash turnout composed of full-time members of death metal bands Soilwork (vocalist/bassist Björn Strid, drummer Henry Ranta) and Darkane (guitar player Klaus Ideberg), summation s guitar player Nick Sword, wHO regularly convene to record their albums during downtime from their primary melodic pursuits. Said albums include 2000's Abattoir Supremacy, 2002's Faster Disaster, and 2005's Terror for Sale (which saw Ranta replaced by Erik Thyselius), and contain relentless, lightning-fast, but loosely unimaginative modern slam dance, often characterized by surprisingly humourous lyrics.
