Sustainable Threads on Bio-Diesel Powered Wheels are Music to Concert-Goers Ears
RVL7 by RE:VOLVE Apparel Project Rolls Into The Summer's Hottest Music
Festivals With Eco-Style in Custom-Designed Mobile Eco-Shop
NEW YORK, July 2 -- RVL7 by RE:VOLVE, the
sustainably-minded clothing and accessories company known for blending
eco-style with wear-it-out-loud messages, today launches a 17-stop, 15-city
tour to educate and empower America's youth to create positive social
change with the first stop at the annual Rothbury Music Festival over
Fourth of July weekend in Rothbury, Michigan. With a highly-designed and
completely sustainable mobile tour headquarters, RVL7 aka 'Revel Seven'
invites concert-goers along the tour to celebrate and take action for a
better world at a time when change and action are the defining elements of
American culture.
Open to everyone, visitors to the RVL7 Eco-Shop can get in on the
action and educate others by sharing their own seven rules of
sustainable-living with millions of people by taping a video message
on-site that will appear on RVL7's web pages in several different locations
on the web. Every visitor can join the RVL7 community where they can commit
to doing their own "seven things" for RVL7 to live more sustainably.
"Making sustainable clothing is one tiny piece of a much bigger
puzzle," said Joe Tomlinson, Founder and CEO of RVL7 by RE:VOLVE Apparel
Project. "With our clothing and our company we hope to teach and encourage
people of all kinds to constantly pursue a better, peaceful and more
sustainable world."
As a continued part of RVL7's campaign for positive social change,
guests who join the RVL7 community can also enter their own creative design
inspired by their personal seven rules of sustainability for consideration
to appear in RVL7's special "SEVEN SERIES" limited edition graphic
t-shirts, going on sale in Spring 2009.
Fueled by bio-diesel, the RVL7 mobile tour headquarters is constructed
of recycled aluminum with sleek bamboo paneling creating a modern interior
space with a convertible front porch covered in green foliage that opens up
to a panoramic view. The high-tech interactive experience inside the main
space is powered by solar energy derived from panels atop the alumilite
roof.
RVL7 by RE:VOLVE will sell an array of signature men's, women's and
children's graphic tees with new designs exclusively for fall 2008 as well
as signature pieces from the Spring 2008 collection available in a variety
of fresh and bold colors. The pieces encourage men, women and children to
wear their talk through the expression of positive messages and ideas that
matter. All of the company's offerings are produced using sustainable
practices and environmentally friendly materials including 100% organic
cotton and bamboo.
The RVL7 by RE:VOLVE sustainable mobile tour and Eco-Shop, the
brainchild of RVL7 founder Joe Tomlinson, was brought to life through a
custom designed experience created by conceptual programming and execution
experts Relevent, the leader in innovative marketing, special events and
promotions.
RE:VOLVE Apparel Project, the company that turned the Sundance Film
Festival gifting scene right-side up by converting the traditional swag
suite into a hugely popular "Giving Suite," where items were purchased to
benefit charitable organizations instead of given away to celebrities for
free, announced RVL7 by RE:VOLVE Apparel Project in June 2008, evolving the
project into a full collection of sustainably-minded clothing and
accessories with greater focus on conservation and resource renewal.
The company, a joint effort of husband and wife team Joe and Amy
Tomlinson, has been embraced by all ages and personalities from appearing
on this season's The Real World to appearing on the backs of celebrities
such as Amy Smart, Sharon Stone, Lenny Kravitz, Lewis Black and Anthony
Keidis. RVL7 by RE:VOLVE Apparel Project is available at retailers
nationwide such as Macy's and Fred Segal as well as online at
http://www.revolvebrand.com.
