24's Kim gets new TV role

Former '24' actress Elisha Cuthbert is set to return to the small screen in the CBS pilot 'Ny-Lon', a remake of a British-made series that appeared on Channel 4 for one series in 2004.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Cuthbert, who played Kim Bauer in '24', will play a literacy teacher and record store clerk based in New York who embarks on a transatlantic romance with a London stockbroker.
The Canadian, 26, left '24' after Series Three but is rumoured to be considering coming back to play Kim in the movie version of the show. She appeared in 72 episodes in total, including a brief appearance in Season Five.
'24's seventh series, in which a firewall breach threatens the United States, having been delayed by the writers' strike, will start in January next year.
