Los Angeles Mayor Weds Film Producer Cohen & Partner

American Beauty producer Bruce Cohen made history in Los Angeles on Monday when he and partner Gabriel Catone became the first gay couple to be married by city Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Legislation to ban gay marriage in California was overturned last month and the first couples wed legally last week (beg16Jun08). Cohen and the Los Angeles Mayor are longtime friends and Monday's ceremony was held at City Hall.
