Producers Alexander Bass and Anders Hansson teamed up with former solo singer Andreas Lundstedt (born 1972) to meet a club/house-oriented kit. The Swedish dance-pop project was united by Annikafiore (born 1971), wHO began tattle in a female group called Dreamettes, and Tess (born 1970), wHO worked as a backup vocalizer and professional dancer for dissimilar local acts. In 2001, the tierce signed up with BMG to sacking their debut single called "Flagrant at the Discotheque," with samples from French disco music diva Sheila's "Spacer." Alcazar's debut record album was called Casino and featured their second strike single, "Sexual Garantee."
