Often criticized for being sooner obvious Opeth clones (hey, they could get through a caboodle worsened in price of cloning materials), Finland's Farmakon bring forth progressive death metal marked by larger-than-life compositions and challenging creative smorgasbord. Founded in 2001 by vocalist/bassist Marko Eskola, guitarists Lassi Paunonen and Toni Salminen, and drummer Riku Airisto, the group debuted with 2003's dare A Warm Glimpse and, at present featuring modern drummer Matti Auerkallio, has so far to rise they stool waive a part of their possess with a followup album.
