Duffy asks Glastonbury crowd to keep their clothes on
A "mischievous" Duffy played Glastonbury's Other Stage in blazing sunshine this evening (June 28).
However despite warning the crowd of her mischievous streak, she urged them not to get naked.
Making an intimate entrance, the singer performed 'Syrup And Honey' only accompanied by her guitarist.
"Glastonbury hello!" she declared midway through the song, before her full band emerged to play the last chord and then launch into 'Rockferry'.
"How you doing? This is an unbelievable amount of people, and the sun is shining," declared the singer striding around the stage between songs.
Spotting several Welsh flags in the crowd, Welsh-born Duffy asked the bearers: "Are you behaving yourself? Beware, the Welsh are mischievous people!"
Then performing free download track 'Breaking My Own Heart' Duffy explained that "if you want it you can go and get it, it's a gift from me and Glastonbury."
Later, introducing 'Delayed Devotion', Duffy explained: "We want to move in the sun but don't take your close off, that's happened to me before, the audience got naked."
Duffy then told the crowd: "There's a song I can't get out of my head, I heard it on the radio on the way here, the chorus goes I'm begging you for mercy, can you help me out -esque 'Distant Dreamer'.
Duffy played:
'Syrup And Honey'
'Rockferry'
'Hanging On To Love'
'Serious'
'Warwick Avenue'
'Breaking My Own Heart'
'Stepping Stone'
