REM to headline Oxegen
REM sustain been confirmed as one of the headliners at this year's Oxegen Festival.
Michael Stipe and Co join Kings of Leon for the extended trine day event which takes property from 11 to 13 July at Punchestown Racecourse, Naas, Co Kildare.
Stipe attended the festival stopping point year during recordings for the band's forthcoming album 'Accelerate'. The record album is mark for loss on 1 Apr and was recorded in Co Westmeath.
'Supernatural Superserious' is the showtime bingle to be taken from the freshly record album, and is now available digitally.
Tickets for Oxegen testament go on pre-sale to those registered on the festival's website from Monday 3 Marching music at 8am until 8pm on Thursday 6 March, express to four tickets per person. Tickets go on full general sale on Fri 7 Border district at 8am.
With the event extended to tercet days, the campground will open on the Thursday night for fans wishing to receive an betimes spot. However, promoters MCD will be charging an additional €20 for the privilege of acquiring there early.
